Your vision<\/span> European<\/span>'<\/span>Artificial Intelligence, with its emphasis on ethics, has attracted a great deal of attention.<\/span>'<\/span>attention of<\/span>'<\/span>European Association of Free Thought (AEPL).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

L<\/span>'<\/span>The European Association of Free Thought is regularly informed and consulted by its members.<\/span>\u00e8<\/span>by the European Commission within the framework of the Dialogue, Article 17 of the Treaty <\/span>of Lisbon (TFEU). C<\/span>'<\/span>It is in this context that<\/span>'<\/span>she organised<\/span>On 1 April, the European Commission and the European Commission jointly organised a conference on the<\/span>'<\/span>Europe Autrement, with the invaluable assistance of representatives from the Centre Europ\u00e9en<\/span>en de Strat<\/span>\u00e9gie Politique (CESP). We fully support the objectives described in the \"\u00a0<\/span>Ethics guidelines for trustworthy Artificial Intelligence<\/span>\"published in the spring following the work of the<\/span>'<\/span>high-level experts set up by the European Commission.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A recent publication in Euronews worried<\/span>\u00e8<\/span>te and justifies our writing to you.<\/span>
\n<\/span>A group of<\/span>'<\/span>interest, the Centre for \"\u00a0<\/span>Data Innovation<\/span>\u00a0\"an offshoot of the\u00a0<\/span>Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) Innovation<\/span>\u00a0\" <\/span>based <\/span>Washington DC y d<\/span>s new th<\/span>\u00e8<\/span>The following statement: \" <\/span>Europe will be left behind if it focuses on ethics and not keeping pace in AI development <\/span>\"<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

L<\/span>'<\/span>AEPL considers<\/span>\u00e8<\/span>We believe that this argument does not serve the interests of European citizens who are concerned about their own ethical values, particularly with regard to human rights.<\/span>'<\/span>Man. Your vision, and in particular that of<\/span>'<\/span>a \" <\/span>Ethics by Design <\/span>\" <\/span>confirms an ex-ante approach, enabling ethical objectives to be set prior to technological research and development, rather than afterwards<\/span>\u00e8<\/span>s when the facts are known.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Within the legislative framework for<\/span>'<\/span>Artificial Intelligence<\/span>'<\/span>Europe has a duty to pursue what<\/span>'<\/span>it has achieved in<\/span>\u00e8<\/span>In the area of personal data protection, we want to set an example for the rest of the world. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

L<\/span>'<\/span>AEPL has set up a working group to reflect on these issues.<\/span>chit <\/span>to the ethics of<\/span>'<\/span>artificial intelligence. In the meantime, we look forward to sharing our contribution with you, which will expand on the attached report.
