Luxembourg European Meeting

All the speakers are lined up for our event on Saturday 21 October! From 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., we'll be debating, with passion and conviction, how to tackle climate change, with (in alphabetical order):

– Marc AngelMEP (Luxembourg), Vice-President of the European Parliament

– Franziska Bast, étudiante à l’Université franco-allemande de Saarbrücken (Allemagne), membre de Fridays for Future (Sarre) et Greenpeace (Metz)

– Tom Baulerprofessor of ecological economics and co-director of the Institut inter-facultaire des transformations socio-écologiques (iiTSE) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium)

– Michel Bourban, professeur assistant en philosophie à l’Université de Twente (Pays-Bas), spécialisé dans les questions éthiques soulevées par le changement climatique

– Vincent Courboulaya lecturer in computer science at La Rochelle University (France), specialising in digital responsibility

– Nicolas Schmit, commissaire européen à l’Emploi et aux droits sociaux

– Valérie Trouetpaleoclimatologist, professor at the University of Arizona (USA), scientific director of the Climate Centre (Belgium)

– Claude TurmesMinister for Energy and Regional Planning (Luxembourg)

There will be plenty of time for debate with the audience. Registration will open in September. We look forward to seeing you there!

Meeting with the President of the European Parliament

The meeting scheduled for 5 June 2023 was postponed by Mrs Metsola a few days before it was due to take place.

A new request will be made by AEPL. No new date has yet been set.
